Catch-up time

Can't believe it's over a month since I managed to write a post. I've been hiding away, a bit like this house in Marlay Park!

Thanks to those who popped by to say hello and they missed me.
Things have been really hectic around here; I've so much news I don't know where to start. Eldest daughter has started college. And I've been away twice since September, on a school trip to Spain and another "sharing expertise" trip to Slovenia. each time it took me a week to recover, as both trips were brilliant but hectic.
Enough excuses!
Here's a video I recorded on Grafton Street during the summer holidays, I loved how people come along and busk there (it's one of my favourite things about Dublin!) and I loved the way they played. This is my first time to upload a video, so I just hope it works. It's very short, but gives a flavour!

  1. Lovely to be able to read your post again. Was a tiny little snatch of the busking!
We have some really good ones in Bristol and Bath (rubbish ones too, occasionally) but a lot of talent out there.

  2. Even two seconds was long enough to remember Grafton Street! Thanks for the post. So good to see you back again. You have had a busy time and maybe some retroactive posts to come - if we`re lucky.

  3. The video worked the first time I tried it. But my sound was muted. Dang it! Now I can't get it to play! Guess I'll be here a while. LOL

  5. Glad you are back, Mimi.

I could not get tyhe video to load but willm return later and have another go. I need to upgrade my wireless card picking up signals from my router from a G card to an N card and then it will work. Ever thought of busking with your French Horn? Oh! There's a First Aid lesson at my place which you might find interesting LOL.

The clip only played 2 seconds for me and I could not play it more or again, unfortunately.
    Have a great evening,

Yes, and the clip was great, though you're right, it's short. But it does give a taste. :) Looks fabulous!
