I hope this qualifies as "Yard Art"- it's on top of our garden shed. And I photographed it last May, on a rare blue-sky day : there's a reason that this country is so green!
Sylvester, when he was younger, used to move his legs in the wind, but arthritis has set in, and it's all he can do to balance on top of the shed.
I think he's doing quite well!
Mary T hosts this fun meme- you can visit her here.
What fun. He looks as if he's enjoying the blue skies as well!

Sylvester is quite cute and he is lucky to be enjoying such a lovely blue day. ~ Calico Contemplations
ReplyDeleteSylvester still looks mighty smart atop the shed.
ReplyDeleteHe looks good fun to have and I think he deserves to be on top of a shed.

Great yard art, Mimi! Sylvester and that blue, blue sky make a great artistic pair. Look for Sylvester on my sidebar... :)
ReplyDeleteMimi, I didn't make the Maxines on my blog. I just found them on the Internet... I put Sylvester up on my sidebar. :)
ReplyDeleteI love whirligigs - even when they have succumbed to old age and stiffened joints. They make me smile.
ReplyDeleteI remember baby sylvester! I used to watch baby loony toones when I was a kid so I have a soft spot in my heart for him. I love your comment about him getting arthritis! You crack me up!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard about this meme. Is it a new one?
Gosh, he's fabulous. Wish he was on top of my shed. This is an interesting meme, will check out the link you gave.
ReplyDeleteStill dapper even in his dotage. I hope his arthritis doesn't bother him too much :).
ReplyDeleteHi Mimi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I like your yard art. I don't see any reason Sylvester should come down just because he can't do all of his old tricks. He still stands proud and looks adorable.

'I thought I saw a pussy cat' - loved Sylvester growing up! He's perfect yard art!
