This is St Stephen's Green in the centre of Dublin, a lovely park where, on sunny days, people often take their lunch and eat on the benches. I loved the reflections of the autumn hues of the trees on the water this day.

I love your photo. I can see why people choose this spot to lunch in. I bet it is a gorgeous place to picnic and catch up with friends.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty scene. I didn't imagine that I'd ever see St Stephen's Green in the autumn. Hard to believe I was standing right there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo. I remember my sister going there and talking about it when she lived in Dublin. Thanks for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteLovely pic!
ReplyDeleteI enlarged this and there is so much going on - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favourite spots in Dublin, not least because on this very bridge is where Hubby proposed, and where we got engaged.
We also took a lot of our wedding photos here, because this park is right between the church and the hotel where we had our wedding!
I often nip in here if I'm shopping on Grafton Street, as it's only 2 minutes walk.
What a romantic spot for a proposal! How clever of him - you just couldn`t say no!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on Lola`s blog. Dublin is one of the places I´d love to see ("In Dublin`s fair city, where girls are so pretty... lalala"). My daughter once took a horse trail trip through Sligo and picked up an Irish accent. I love that!
If you cannot eat yeast, make a Quark-Ölteig, hmm, whatever THAT is in English. Cheers from Geli!
Looks like a perfect spot for a picnic and a stroll.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
