Ok, it's not exactly ruby red, but here's the thing..Having given up its ruby red berries, this wild strawberry plant then delights with this fabulous display of fading autumn glory. Only when the berries are gone do I notice the beautiful leaf shape and the variegation in its foliage.
And as soon as winter's frosts have cleared, it will start all over again.
